With the threat of Hurricane Ike, classes were postponed, but only 1 week. The Fall kick off of the second year of teaching was well received at EBTC. Because of the change in schedule to do the windy weather, the class on "Spiritual Life" was moved ahead of "Doctrines II," and was taught by missionaries, Brad Fox and Ryan Flunker. They reported of quality class time as well as penetrating discussions and questions during the week and half long course.

Dave Hawkins had the privilege of teaching the "Preaching Biblical Messages" session in Freeport. He commented that "the subject matter was met with their usual enthusiasm and hunger for God's Word."
