Because most pastors in the Caribbean are bi-vocational, CMA has worked hard to make the training offered at EBTC both affordable and with a workable schedule.
Therefore, each class is designed to be completed within a two-week time period. Students spend an average of four hours an evening (30-40 total hours) listening to lectures and taking notes from the Center’s visiting pastors/teachers. A $70 fee for each class covers the cost for EBTC’s expenses, the provision of text books, and a delicious dinner for the students. Texts are purchased through The Bible Training Centre for Pastors (www.bibletraining.com) and are available for the students to keep.
At the end of each class and providing that payment has been made and attendance fulfilled, students are eligible to continue on to the next class. The training takes a full two years to complete and graduates are then honored at a formal ceremony and provided with a quality set of reference books and diploma.
