Short Term Trips & Internships
Short-term opportunities abound in the Bahamas and specifically on the island of Eleuthera. CMA looks for people of all ages and all professions, groups and individuals, to come and work alongside the missionaries and assist in the ministry. Opportunities include: construction (professionals and amateurs are welcome), vacation Bible schools, sports camps/instruction, AWANA training, and music/drama presentations. We welcome new ideas to reach out to all age groups and strive to work with the strengths of the teams and individuals. We simply ask that you come with open hearts, positive spirits, and an attitude of flexibility.
Summer internships are also offered to college and post-college individuals. Interns work alongside teams, have responsibilities in helping maintain the training center, and are encouraged to develop friendships with the Bahamian people. In the past, interns have made the most of individual evangelistic and discipleship opportunities that God brought their way. Female interns have the choice of hosting a Bible study for the teens and young women in the settlement of James Cistern. Male interns have developed strong friendships by participating and inviting the young men to play basketball and tennis.
Interns are under the authority of EBTC missionaries, Brad and Alicia Fox, and participate in a weekly Bible study with them. Anyone interested in spending an exciting summer growing in the Lord, living in a new culture, and making the most of their Christian walk should contact CMA HERE. |
