Equipping Season Begins for the Landers
With the team season over in Eleuthera, Bill and Teresa Landers are on the move in the Eastern Caribbean, teaching, training, and cultivating relationships. Here are some highlights from their most recent newsletter.
“As a reminder, our vision is to make our equipping sessions available to all English-speaking islands and nations in the Eastern Caribbean. To date, we only have three countries left…St Kitts, St Lucia, and Montserrat. And while we have been to all of the others, that doesn’t mean we currently offer sessions in those countries. And frankly, we will want to take another swing at a couple of these. Sometimes the timing isn’t right for one reason or another. However, contacts are made, and cultivating those relationships takes time. But we are excited about how far the Lord has taken us across the eastern Caribbean. During our first trip of the equipping season, we traveled to St Maarten and Dominica. Bill spoke in two churches in Dutch St Maarten, one in French St Martin, and one in Dominica.
Brother Andrew David is the Pastor of Abundant Grace. He attended a couple of our equipping sessions in the spring in St Maarten and invited us to share with his congregation throughout the week. God willing, we will return to this church in November to lead intensive equipping sessions on evangelism.
Brother Lloyd Vidal is the Pastor of Christian Assemblies in Salisbury, western Dominica. Bill was able to cast the vision for our equipping sessions on Saturday evening, then speak on the following Sunday morning. We will return in November, in the will of the Lord, to offer another module. Projections are that several churches will take part with a good number of participants…stay tuned!”
